AllSet Set Project celebrates after receiving £10,000 in National Lottery funding
All Set Project based in Portadown & Maghery is celebrating after being awarded £10000 in
funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity
in the UK.
All Set Project will use their funding for ‘Musical Conversations programmes to bring isolated
people together to enjoy music and song. It will provide opportunities for socializing and
will create occasions for positive interaction for all participants. This social programme of
music and song aims to lift the spirits of the people from rural areas thus helping our
communities to thrive.
This new National Lottery funding will include music performances & workshops, singing,
storytelling & conversations. It will involve rural communities from Maghery & Birches areas.
The programmes will commence from May 2022. Contact 07508528408 to get involved.
National Lottery players raise over £30 million a week for good causes across the UK. The
National Lottery Community Fund distributes a share of this to projects to support people and
communities to prosper and thrive.
Mary Fox, project manager said: “Thanks to National Lottery players, this grant means that
we can connect with local communities through ‘Musical Conversations’. The programmes
will bring happiness through music and create positive communication amongst all. Food &
transport is also provided. This will make a big difference to people’s lives.”
